1. Shipping Policy 

1.1 Order Processing & Dispatch 

Orders are processed and shipped from our facility in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, Australia. We dispatch on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding public holidays). 

  • Orders placed after 10:00 AM AEST on dispatch days will be processed on the next scheduled day. 

  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is shipped.

1.2 Domestic Shipping (Australia) 

We ship to all Australian states and territories. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on parcel weight, dimensions, and destination. 

Standard Shipping Rates 

  • Hemp Fabric Swatches: Flat rate of $9.95 (credited toward future fabric orders) 

  • All other products: Calculated by weight and delivery zone 

  • Exclusions (not eligible for free or flat-rate shipping): 

  • Bulk buckwheat hulls 

  • Bulk hemp seed oil, flour, protein 

  • Fabric rolls

1.3 International Shipping 

We ship worldwide using reputable international couriers. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and shipping method.

Customs & Duties 
International customers are responsible for any customs charges, import duties, or taxes. These are not included in the shipping cost and vary by country. 

 

2. Returns Policy 

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We comply fully with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and offer returns for: 

  • Change of mind (under certain conditions) 

  • Faulty, damaged, or misrepresented products 

 

2.1 Change of Mind Returns 

We accept returns for change of mind within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible: 

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition 

  • Original packaging and tags must be intact 

  • Bedding must not have been slept in or laundered 

  • Items must be repacked neatly as sent 

Return Shipping 

  • Return postage is the responsibility of the customer 

  • We recommend using a tracked delivery service 

Exclusions for Hygiene Reasons 
For health and safety, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on: 

  • Buckwheat hull pillows 

  • Any custom or bulk fabric orders 
    Unless faulty, these items are non-returnable. 

Restocking Fee 
We reserve the right to apply a restocking fee or decline a return if the item does not meet return conditions. 

 

2.2 Sale & Clearance Items 

Products marked as sale, promotion, or clearance are final sale for change-of-mind purposes. 

However, if a sale item is faulty, you are still entitled to a remedy under the ACL, including repair, replacement, or refund. 

 

3. Faulty or Damaged Goods 

We perform quality checks before dispatch. If your item is: 

  • Faulty 

  • Significantly different from the description 

  • Unsafe or not fit for purpose 

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the issue. 

How to Report a Fault 
Email: support@ehempstore.com.au within 7 days of delivery. 
Include: 

  • Your name and order number 

  • A clear description of the issue 

  • Photographs showing the fault 

 

4. Damaged Items in Transit 

If your product is damaged during delivery: 

  • We will initiate a courier investigation, which may take 5–14 business days 

  • We will keep you updated 

  • Remedies (refund or replacement) will be issued after the courier confirms the damage 

Note for ACSU Members: 
Under ACL, the seller is responsible for goods until delivered — so if your parcel is lost or damaged, you’re entitled to a fair resolution from the seller, not the courier. 

 

5. Refunds and Processing Time 

If your return is approved: 

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal, Afterpay) 

  • Please allow 3–5 business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank 

  • We will notify you once the refund is processed 

Delays? Check with your financial institution. If it hasn’t appeared after 7 business days, contact us.
